Dear Mamachka,
You are such a treasure in my life. I wouldn't be who I am and where I am without you. You are always there when I need a shoulder to lean on. You never say no for an answer, when it comes to helping someone out. Your servants heart is so loving and compassionate, anyone who crosses paths with you is touched and changed in one way or another. Your wisdom and words of advise are always an answer from God and the time you spend in his presence is felt and seen in your daily life. Over the years you have learned to change, let go and grow. I love watching your life because you never cease to teach me by the way you live.
As a child I wanted to be just like you and that hasn't changed because I still want to be just like you when I grow up. I want to be the kind of wife and mother that you are, to be the kind of selfless grandmother you are, I want to be the kind of friend and mentor that you are and I want all who come in contact with me to feel and see Jesus through me just like people do in you.
Your loving and obedient spirit to the Lord guided me to marry my husband and that set the coarse of my life and I couldn't be happier! Your wise words all through my childhood kept me safe and sheltered from the evil that this world has to offer. The example you were to me growing up is still very vivid in my memories, of how gentle, kind and loving you were to us. You have taught me to trust the Lord no matter what comes my way and to depend on only him. You taught me that my identity is in him and not what others think of me. You continue to teach me and speak truth into my life, if I ever need to feel encouraged you are the one I go to. You not only give encouragement but you also know how to correct me, I can trust you to speak truth into my life no matter what it may be.
Thank you for being my best friend. For loving, supporting and accepting me unconditionally. You are the one I want to be like when I grow up. You are truly a rare treasure to be found and people tell me that often but I don't need anyone to point that out because I already know. I honestly have the best mama in the world! I hope we make you feel as loved and cherished as you make us feel. I love you my dearest mamachka and I wouldn't trade you for the world!
She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness. Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!” Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised. Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise. -Provers 31: 25-31
There is no way to be a perfect mother but a million ways to be a good one and you are that for me!
Forever your, Natasha :)
