I can't imagine how to live without handing over my burdens to someone greater than myself.
I was telling my husband the other day that I am grateful to have Hope. True hope that doesn't fail. If I didn't know God, I don't know where my marriage would be. I would probably be too afraid of having children, writing or sharing what I'm going through with people. There is so much evil in this world and things seem to be getting worse. How do you live when there is no hope for a better tomorrow?
The truth is that there is hope for a better tomorrow. God is our hope.
I have no words to express how thankful I am for having faith in an eternal Father. One day we will live a life free of pain, suffering and depression. We will be free of all fear, sickness, death, anxiety, loneliness, tears and hopelessness. Jesus is coming and He will reign forever! There will be a place with no more tears. A safe place for all those who love and serve God and call upon the name of Jesus. Sometimes I hope that He will come now but the Lord is taking His time because He wants everyone to come to know Him and doesn't want anyone to be separated from Him for eternity. He is giving us all more time to do His work. His grace is enough for all that life might bring us.
In the midst of all that goes on in your life know this; we have a future and a hope that is everlasting. Our God lives and His word is true. So let us turn from our selfish ways, take up our cross and follow Him wherever He might be leading us. May we not be ashamed of our Jesus, for our life isn't worth hanging on to. (Mark 8:34-38) May we shine ever brighter for this world to see Him. And may everyone come to know and praise our heavenly Father. (Matthew 5:14-16)
Do you have this hope? If you don't, it's not out of your reach. All you have to do to begin this wonderful journey is believe that Jesus is the son of God and make Him Lord of your life. Give your life to Him and He will teach you how to live day by day through His word.
What are some things you've overcome because of the hope we have in Christ?
For the word of God is alive and powerful. -Hebrews 4:12a
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. -Romans 15:13
God's promises of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it. -Hebrews 4:1
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. -Hebrews 11:1
For, there is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity-the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. -1 Timothy 2:5-6
For this is how God loved the world: that He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. -John 3:16-17
Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother's womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things. -Ecclesiastes 11:5
